The 2010 Innovation & Excellence in Asset Management Awards (IEAM) will recognize leaders in asset intensive industries that have solved difficult challenges and deployed innovative business solutions and management practices that demonstrate "leading the way."

Ventyx invites individuals, groups and businesses in the industries of mining, transit, and the utility sectors to submit nominations for consideration. Winners will be chosen based on the development, delivery and deployment of best-in-class business practices and solution implementations.

2010 IEAM Award Categories

Business Transformation of the Year
The winner will provide the best example of transforming a business by solving a difficult challenge using innovation. The winner will be selected based on the employee impact, proven ROI, increased production, and significant improvement in a measurable criteria.

Leading the Way
The winner will have demonstrated leading the way with a new and innovative business approach using technology. The winner will be selected based on the innovation and creativity of a solution that solves a quantifiable business problem and the pioneering use of cutting edge technology.

Deployment Excellence
The winner will exhibit seamless deployment of technology to solve a quantifiable business objective. The winner of this award will be selected based on the overall excellence (on time, budget, expectations, etc) with regards to the deployment of an innovative solution that solves a quantifiable business problem.

Workforce Effectiveness
The winner will have realized significant improvement in the areas of asset management, maintenance, resource allocation, safety, cost reduction and/or change management. The winner will be selected based on the overall savings to the business, the business impact, reducing maintenance times, increasing safety, and overall effectiveness of workforce utilization.

Vision
The winner will have demonstrated leadership and achieved mass transformation within their organization utilizing technology and services in new and innovative ways. The winner will be selected based on solving a quantifiable business problem and exhibits excellence around the topics of scalability, thought leadership, integration, and pushing the boundaries or what has been generally thought possible.
