Jens Birgersson
Chief Executive Officer
Jens Birgersson is chief executive officer of Ventyx, appointed in October 2011. Prior to joining Ventyx, he served in a number of senior management roles in different parts of ABB and the leading minerals processing group, Imerys. Jens first joined ABB in 1993, holding positions in the power systems and transmission and distribution businesses, before taking on senior leadership roles in the high-voltage products and oil, gas and petrochemicals businesses. Jens returned to ABB in 2008 to head the Network Management business unit. Under Jens' leadership, ABB has significantly expanded its capability in enterprise software and established it as a core business for the Group. Jens brings extensive expertise in product, systems and service businesses and more than 15 years of international management experience.
