Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority

Located in Buffalo, N.Y., Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority is a local provider of public transportation services for Erie and Niagara counties in the state of New York. The company also operates as a ports authority that manages Buffalo's harbor, Buffalo Niagara International Airport and Niagara Falls International Airport. Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority employs more than 1,500 full- and part-time employees and provides transportation services to over 94,000 passengers per day. Established in 1923, its fleet includes more than 350 buses and trolley-style buses. Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority also operates a boat harbor that includes parking area for more than 1,000 vehicles, restaurants, marine shops, fish cleaning stations and fuel docks.
