SA Water is an internationally recognised water utility wholly owned by the Government of South Australia that provides water and wastewater services to about 1.4 million people. SA Water is charged with the responsibility of developing the South Australian water industry - as well as owning, managing and operating the State’s water supply and wastewater treatment systems. Its core business is to provide reliable and sustainable water and wastewater services to the population, to minimise the impact on the environment of wastewater treatment and disposal and to provide an adequate return on funds for the Government.
