The Challenge

To fully comply with Pennsylvania and PJM deregulation initiatives, PECO Energy needed a single solution that could support specific profiling, forecasting, customer enrollment, customer data management, and settlement requirements. PECO Energy also sought out a way to interactively share this information with its supplier.

The Solution

Ventyx delivered and implemented Retail Operations on time and within the allocated budget, providing PECO Energy with the ability to meet Pennsylvania and PJM deregulation initiatives. Ventyx also developed a supplier Website that interfaces real-time with Retail Operations, offering the ideal venue for communication between suppliers and PECO Energy.

Retail Operations provides solutions for PECO Electric and Gas operations:

  • Load forecasting, scheduling, and load settlement solution for the PECO Electric business
  • Website for forecast submittal and approval
  • Web-based daily exchange of information between suppliers and PECO Gas operations
  • Back-office gas operations support
